Match 4: Flyin' Ryan vs. Steve Stiles
Ripped heel Flyin Ryan is warming up in the ring waiting for his opponent Stevan Stiles to enter the ring. Ryan, who is wearing Irish green, has both pro wrestling training and mixed martial arts experience. Stiles has amateur wrestling experience in addition to his pro training, so when we set this match up we knew we were in store for a great technical bout, and that's exactly what we got. Some great high intensity back & forth wrestling exchanges display both athletes' unique skill sets. Just when one grappler seems to have an advantage the other counters out into a brilliant hold of his own. Figure 4 leg locks & variations, arm bars, bridging holds, banana splits, reverse Texas cloverleaf back bends, and suspended submission holds (including a great suspended surfboard/dragon sleeper combo) are normal in this bout! It's a great example of why NewPro exists! Each wrestler taking the best his foe has to offer and countering out in a contest of who can out do the other in 'scientific' and technical pro. One of the best submission bouts NP has had to date! The loser of this bout is finally forced to give in to a flying figure 4 headscissors w/ an arm lock.
